A young brown bear cub was photographed in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania with a single leaf adorning its head, giving it a unique, leafy camouflage. The charming moment was captured by wildlife photographer Dave Kiely.
The cub was foraging for food with its mother and sibling in tall grass when its head, complete with the unexpected accessory, emerged from the foliage. Kiely, who has photographed bears globally, described the encounter as a particularly memorable and light-hearted experience, noting he had never before seen a bear with such natural camouflage.
