An Australian tourist confronted a traveler for littering at a world-famous lookout on Padar Island in Indonesia last week. Footage of the incident shows the Australian woman picking up a plastic water bottle that a Chinese tourist had thrown on the ground.

"I don't care, you saw the sign. This is beautiful, and you ruin it," the Australian woman stated, according to the report. "Shameful. Shame on you. Don't come back. I don't care, don't litter."

When the Chinese tourist asked where she was from, she replied, "Australia. Shame on you. Don't come back. Don't litter."

Several other tourists reportedly intervened to admonish the individual for his actions. "Hey, you're rude. You should go. No one likes you," one woman was heard saying.

Padar Island is a prominent viewpoint within Komodo National Park, renowned for its distinctive hills and clear waters. The Komodo National Park Authority indicated that all visitors receive briefings on anti-littering policies before hiking on the island. The organization stated that park staff would increase supervision and remind tourists to help maintain the cleanliness of the area.

The video of the confrontation has circulated on social media, drawing praise for the Australian tourist. Many users commended her actions, with some noting Australia's strong anti-littering culture. "This is the spirit of Australia," one commenter wrote.
