Authorities are continuing their search for Jesse Bruzzese, a 35-year-old Australian man who disappeared in Mexico six weeks ago. Mr. Bruzzese was last in contact with loved ones on June 3 while traveling in the Riviera Maya region near Cancun. He had arrived in Mexico approximately one month prior, having spent nine months traveling the world alone.

An Interpol yellow notice has been issued, an international alert intended to help locate missing or abducted persons. The organization noted that Mr. Bruzzese may have traveled to Cambodia, Mexico, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia.

Mr. Bruzzese is described as an experienced traveler who typically maintained regular contact with his family and friends. His family has issued a public plea for information, expressing increasing concern for his welfare. "We are growing more worried as each day goes by," they stated on social media. "We simply want to know that you're okay. Please reach out to someone and let them know you're safe."

Mr. Bruzzese is 176 cm tall with brown hair and eyes. He has several distinctive tattoos, including a woman's face on his inner left arm, a person with wings on his upper left arm, Roman numerals, hands with a clock face and roses on his left shoulder, and eagle wings across his left chest.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Western Australia Police are assisting in the multi-agency cross-border investigation. "DFAT is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian reported missing in Mexico," a spokesperson confirmed. Those with any information regarding Mr. Bruzzese's whereabouts are urged to contact WA Police or Crime Stoppers.
