Zendaya and Tom Holland Purchase £9 Million Home in Wimbledon
The celebrity couple has reportedly bought a lavish property near the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Hollywood stars Zendaya and Tom Holland have reportedly purchased a £9 million home in Wimbledon, London. The couple, who met on the set of "Spider-Man" and married earlier this year, have acquired a property located near the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the venue for the annual Wimbledon Championships.
The residence boasts four reception rooms and is situated on nearly an acre of land, including a separate cottage. It also features a tennis court, adding a fitting amenity given Zendaya's recent role as a tennis coach in the film "Challengers."
The property's location places it adjacent to the historic Wimbledon Park Golf Club. The All England Club has plans to develop the golf course grounds into an 8,000-seat stadium and additional courts. However, this proposed development is facing opposition from the campaign group Save Wimbledon Park, which argues that the land is protected by a historical trust.
The future of the golf course leasehold, which was sold to the All England Club for £65 million, is currently awaiting a judgment from the Court of Appeal. The couple have not publicly commented on their new acquisition, and their plans for the property remain unknown. A personal assistant has been observed visiting the property, and a gardener has been hired to maintain the grounds.
Zendaya and Holland, who currently reside in a £2.5 million home in Richmond, are known for maintaining a low profile. Both actors are reportedly being considered for Oscar nominations, Zendaya for "Dune: Part Three" and Holland for his role in an upcoming film.
