Zendaya and Tom Holland Purchase £9 Million Home in Wimbledon

Actress Zendaya and actor Tom Holland have reportedly purchased a nearly £9 million home in Wimbledon, London. The couple, who met on the set of "Spider-Man" and married earlier this year, are now neighbors to the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the venue for the annual Wimbledon Championships.

The property boasts four reception rooms and is set on nearly an acre of land, including a separate cottage and a tennis court. Estate agents describe the home as offering an "outstanding blend of space, privacy and versatility."

The location places the couple adjacent to the historic Wimbledon Park Golf Club. The All England Club has plans to develop the golf course grounds into an 8,000-seat stadium and additional courts. This proposed development is currently being challenged by a campaign group named Save Wimbledon Park, which argues that the land is subject to a statutory trust restricting its use. The future of the golf course, which closed after its leasehold was sold to the All England Club for £65 million, awaits a judgment from the Court of Appeal.

Holland, who grew up in the Kingston-on-Thames area and attended school in Wimbledon, has previously expressed a fondness for the locale. Zendaya, who starred in the tennis-themed film "Challengers," has also shown a connection to the sport, notably attending the Wimbledon finals in Ralph Lauren suits.

While the couple has not been seen at the new property, their personal assistant has been observed making regular visits, and a gardener has been hired to maintain the grounds. Both Zendaya and Holland are known for maintaining a low profile and have previously resided in a £2.5 million house in Richmond. They have been reportedly discussed as potential Oscar contenders for their recent work.

The couple's representatives declined to comment on the property acquisition.
