The Burghley Horse Trials saw a notable family gathering on its second day, with royal equestrian Zara Tindall, her brother Peter Phillips, his wife Harriet Sperling, and their father Captain Mark Phillips, accompanied by his girlfriend Florence Standaert.

Peter, 48, and Harriet, 45, who married earlier this summer, were seen holding hands and smiling. Harriet, an NHS nurse, wore white wide-leg trousers, a black denim jacket, and a colorful blouse, accessorized with green suede ballet flats and a blue tote bag. Peter opted for a relaxed, sporty look with navy trousers, a shirt, and a gilet.

They were joined by Zara, an accomplished equestrian who participates in the trials annually. She appeared in slim-fitting jeans, a windbreaker, sneakers, and a navy baseball cap. Zara recently secured her first major championship title in nearly two decades at the Hartpury International Horse Trials and British Championships, riding 17-year-old Class Affair to victory and winning a £5,000 prize. This win marked her first major championship title since claiming team gold at the European Eventing Championships in 2007.

Captain Mark Phillips, 77, attended with his girlfriend Florence Standaert, 44, a Belgian equestrian. The couple has been rumored to be dating since 2022 and were also present at Peter and Harriet's wedding in June.

Peter and Harriet have had a summer filled with high-profile events, including Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, and the Badminton Horse Trials, following their wedding at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. Princess Anne, Zara and Peter's mother, is expected to attend the Burghley event on Sunday in her capacity as President of World Horse Welfare.
