Zana Pali Claims She's Never Been in Love Despite Marriage and Children
The 'My Kitchen Rules' star revealed her feelings on love and relationships in a recent Instagram Q&A, following her ex-husband's public new romance.
Zana Pali, known for her appearance on the reality cooking show 'My Kitchen Rules,' has stated she has never been in love, despite having been married and raising two children with her ex-husband, Gianni Romano.
Pali shared this sentiment in a response to a fan's question on her Instagram Story this week. When asked if she had ever experienced love, she wrote, "No. At the time, I guess you assume you are. Hindsight is powerful though... you grow up and realise you probably didn't have a clue what love actually was. So... ask me again when I've successfully identified it."
Pali and Romano married in November 2014 and later welcomed two sons, Leo in 2018 and Romeo in 2020. The couple gained public recognition after appearing on 'My Kitchen Rules' in 2016.
Pali also posted a cryptic message on Instagram, suggesting that certain truths are being revealed for protection. "God will keep exposing what you refuse to see until you finally understand that He's not punishing you. He's protecting you. Trust the process," she wrote.
This comes shortly after Romano publicly displayed his new relationship with a woman in her 20s, socialite Gracie Stewart. Romano, 37, announced his new romance on social media earlier this month. His lawyer posted a gallery of photos, including a selfie with Stewart kissing him on the cheek and a video of them on the beach.
Romano and Stewart were first seen together in September of the previous year at the JW Foundation Starry Night gala in Melbourne, an event Zana Pali also attended.
Pali confirmed to Daily Mail that her ex-husband has a new partner, stating, "Yeah, he's re-partnered... I'm really happy for him. And she'll help him as well. You know, for the support. Because it's not easy. Going through a divorce is probably the worst time of your life. So, yeah, when I heard he moved on, I was like, 'That's great.' I was like, 'Good. Nice.'"
Regarding the end of her marriage, Pali stated she was the one who initiated the divorce. "I did. I left... I think, for a woman, you check out many, many years earlier. It takes us a long time, especially with children, young kids. You know, you always stay for the family. Stay for the children," she explained.
Pali and Romano quietly ended their 10-year marriage prior to news breaking in the middle of the previous year. They share two sons, Leonardo and Romeo.
