Zaire Wade, 24, the son of NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, was arrested on June 21 in Los Angeles County on suspicion of domestic violence. Jail records indicate he was taken into custody by the Burbank Police Department at 6 a.m. and released on a $50,000 bond later that morning at 11:59 a.m.
A spokesperson for the Burbank Police Department confirmed to The California Post that Wade was booked for domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. Due to the nature of the arrest, the department stated that information is limited. Detectives are expected to present the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for filing considerations.
