Musician Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, revealed on Instagram that he fractured his leg in a motorcycle accident and is using a cast and crutches. The accident reportedly occurred at the Sturgis Bike Rally in Michigan earlier this month.
Despite the injury, Yungblud performed a ten-song set in pain before seeking medical attention. He indicated on social media that the injury would not prevent him from continuing his tour. "Leg fed, still giggin Still standin’ (sort of). Portugal and Belgium – I’m comin’ and it’s gonna be fing mad," he stated.
Yungblud is scheduled to perform in Portugal and headline Belgium’s Pukkelpop festival this week. He shared an image on Instagram showing a large bandage extending from his thigh to his foot, along with a pair of crutches.
This incident follows Yungblud's withdrawal from the Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary, Canada, just days after a on-stage emotional breakdown. He had canceled his appearance to prioritize his well-being, stating he was taking time off in the UK to address personal struggles.
Earlier this past month, Yungblud experienced a mid-concert breakdown during a performance in the Czech Republic, where he spoke to fans about feeling disconnected and in pain. He expressed that seeing his fans' faces provided a sense of belonging and safety. He also pledged support to his fans during difficult times.
Following the concert, he shared a clip of the breakdown on Instagram, explaining his decision to post the moment. He described struggling to process emotions over the past year and the challenges of being an artist in a fast-paced industry. Yungblud also reflected on the impact of online criticism and his desire to spread love and create a unifying space for his audience.
