Internet personality Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested on Friday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, according to online records.
Authorities responded to a residence in the Riverside Park neighborhood shortly before noon and determined that Doherty and a woman had been involved in a physical dispute. The woman involved was reportedly uninjured. Doherty sustained a cut on his cheek, which was visible in his booking mugshot.
Doherty is currently being held at the Broward County Main Jail with no bond set as of Friday evening. A court date for the domestic battery charge has not yet been scheduled.
This is not Doherty's first encounter with law enforcement. In November 2025, he was arrested in Florida on charges of drug possession and resisting arrest. Officers alleged that Doherty was disrupting traffic while recording content for his social media channels. During a search following his refusal to comply with officers, he was reportedly found to be in possession of amphetamine and marijuana.
Videos from that incident showed Doherty challenging officers to a duel while standing in the middle of a Miami street. The State Attorney's Office later dropped the cannabis charge and offered Doherty admission into the Miami-Dade County Felony Drug Pre-Trial Diversion Program. To enter the program, Doherty waived his right to a speedy trial and agreed to fulfill community program conditions. He successfully completed these conditions, and the court issued a final discharge certificate in May 2026, clearing his record of the charges without a conviction.
Doherty, who has a significant online following with over 15 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 11 million TikTok followers, has also made headlines for his personal life. In October 2025, he and his then-wife, OnlyFans star McKinley Richardson, separated after less than a year of marriage.
