Social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested Friday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. The arrest followed a physical dispute with a woman in a Riverside Park neighborhood residence, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

Police responded to a domestic dispute call shortly before noon on Friday. Initial information indicated that Doherty and the woman engaged in a physical altercation. The woman involved was not injured, authorities said. Doherty was taken into custody and booked into the Broward County Main Jail.

Doherty, 22, has a history of legal issues. In November 2025, he was arrested in Miami-Dade County on charges of drug possession and resisting arrest. According to reports at the time, he challenged police officers to a duel shortly before his arrest. During that incident, officers found amphetamine and marijuana in his possession.

Doherty, who has over 15 million subscribers on YouTube and a larger following across other platforms, is known for his prank videos. In October 2024, he was involved in a single-vehicle crash that totaled his McLaren supercar. At the time, he was reportedly texting while driving during a livestream on the platform Kick, which subsequently banned him. Doherty was released on $3,500 bail following his November 2025 arrest, which he described as the worst day of his life.
