Young Fan Mocks Dodgers' NLCS Exit with Halloween Costume
A Milwaukee Brewers fan's costume has gone viral after the team swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.
A young fan in Milwaukee has found a way to playfully taunt the Los Angeles Dodgers following the Milwaukee Brewers' decisive National League Championship Series sweep. The fan appeared at a school Halloween party dressed as a battered Dodgers player, complete with a uniform, fake blood, and a proclamation about being "beat up by the Brewers."
The costume, shared on social media by the child's mother, Alexa Dobry, has gained significant attention online. The Brewers completed a four-game sweep of the Dodgers, ending the latter's bid for a third consecutive World Series appearance. This marked the first time in franchise history that the Dodgers have been swept in an NLCS, a reversal from the previous year when Los Angeles swept Milwaukee in the same series.
The Brewers, who posted a league-best 103 wins during the regular season, will advance to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Meanwhile, the Dodgers, who fielded a highly touted rotation including Tarik Skubal, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Blake Snell, and Tyler Glasnow, were unable to secure a victory against Milwaukee despite holding leads in all four games of the series.
