'Yellowstone' Spinoff 'Marshals' Returns for Season 2
The series following U.S. Marshals tasked with protecting Montana airs its second season premiere on CBS.
The "Yellowstone" spinoff "Marshals" returns for its second season on CBS on October 4, picking up where the first season left off. The series, which centers on the youngest Dutton son Kayce as he joins a specialized group of U.S. Marshals, will premiere at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Season 1 concluded with several storylines in flux: Cruz heading to Washington D.C., Belle and Cal facing a violent encounter, and Tate being kidnapped. The Season 2 premiere, titled "End of Watch," will see Kayce going rogue in a desperate attempt to rescue his son.
The official description for the premiere indicates that the Marshals will uncover a significant criminal operation linked to the East Camp land grab, leading to a confrontation that puts Kayce's priorities at risk.
Viewers can watch the "Marshals" Season 2 premiere live on CBS. For those without cable, the episode can be streamed for free through a five-day trial of DIRECTV's live TV streaming service, which includes CBS. Alternatively, a seven-day free trial of Paramount+ Premium is available, offering new episodes for streaming on Sunday mornings.
The cast for Season 2 includes Luke Grimes as Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Kayce Dutton, Logan Marshall-Green as Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Pete “Cal” Calvin, Arielle Kebbel as Deputy U.S. Marshal Isabel “Belle” Turek-Skinner, Ash Santos as Deputy U.S. Marshal Andrea Cruz, and Tatanka Means as Deputy U.S. Marshal Miles Kittle. Brecken Merrill reprises his role as Tate Dutton, alongside Mo Brings Plenty as Mo and Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater. Jefferson White is also set to return to the "Yellowstone" universe, reprising his role as Jimmy Hurdstrom.
