Yash Patel Expresses Disappointment with Drew Campbell After 'Big Brother 28' Double Eviction

Yash Patel, a contestant on "Big Brother 28," has voiced his "hard feelings" towards fellow houseguest Drew Campbell following a recent double eviction that resulted in Patel's elimination. Campbell's decision to vote against Patel, siding with a group known as the "Icons," has left Patel feeling a sense of betrayal within the game.

During the double eviction episode, Patel found himself on the block alongside Dee Valladares. Rick Devens, who had won the Power of Veto, chose to save himself, leaving Patel and Valladares as the nominees. Despite pleas from Patel and his ally Taylor Brown, Campbell ultimately voted to keep Valladares in the house, leading to Patel's exit.

In an interview with Page Six, Patel, 24, acknowledged the strategic nature of Campbell's move. "In terms of the game, you best believe I have hard feelings towards him about that decision," Patel stated. However, he emphasized that these feelings are confined to the game itself and do not extend to their personal relationship outside the "Big Brother" house. "Everything that happened in that house stays in that that house," he said. "Game is game. So I'm not gonna bring that into the real world."

Patel also shared his perspective on Campbell's gameplay, stating, "No. He plays a little weaselly. I don't respect that kind of gameplay." Nevertheless, he conceded that Campbell's strategy ultimately led to him outlasting Patel in the competition. Patel also noted that Campbell has maintained strong alliances with the "Icons" throughout the season, which factored into his surprise at Campbell's decision.

This sentiment echoes that of another "Big Brother 28" contestant, Mallory Aurichio, who previously told Page Six that she felt betrayed by Campbell. Aurichio, a rocket scientist, accused Campbell of playing both sides of the house and relaying information to the "Icons," a core alliance that includes Valladares, Devens, and "Big Brother 26" alum Angela Murray.
