WWE performer Grayson Waller referred to Atlantic City as the "saddest city in America" in a social media video filmed on the city's beach.
The remarks were made prior to a "Monday Night Raw" event held at Boardwalk Hall. Waller, an Australian wrestler who joined the WWE in 2019, posted the video from the beach area.
Atlantic City, a New Jersey gambling and resort destination, has faced economic challenges in recent years, including the closure of several casino hotels. The city's tourism industry relies heavily on its casinos and entertainment venues.
