Wrestler PAC Found Dead Hours After Emotional Promo
All Elite Wrestling star Benjamin Satterley, known as PAC, was discovered deceased on Sunday, with final footage revealing a poignant speech about life, loss, and legacy.
Benjamin Satterley, the professional wrestler known as PAC, was found dead on Sunday in a vehicle near Chicago O'Hare International Airport. He was 40 years old. Police are not treating his death as suspicious, and further examinations are underway to determine the cause.
Satterley, who previously wrestled in WWE under the name Neville, had competed the previous night at the AEW All-Out pay-per-view event in Chicago. Following his loss to Andrade, he appeared in the main event between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. After the match, Moxley delivered an emotional promo alongside Satterley and other members of their stable, the Death Riders. This footage, recorded that night, was aired at a subsequent AEW show as a tribute to Satterley.
In the video, Satterley spoke about the nature of loss and the importance of resilience. "You're gonna lose in wrestling. You're gonna lose in life. You're gonna lose people. You're gonna lose opportunities," he said. "You've gotta just smile and get up tomorrow and do it again and just give it your best every single day. Because every single day is a gift."
He reflected on the privilege of performing for sold-out crowds and the unique nature of professional wrestling. "Do you know what it's like to walk out in front of a sold-out crowd?... The opportunity to be out in this ring, doing this job. The best job in the world. There is nothing better than that," Satterley stated. He also touched on legacy, noting there are "two kinds of eulogies, at funerals. One of them is this is what this guy did. The other one is this is who this guy was."
Moxley, introducing the footage, described it as "the last time we saw Ben in our cameras." The wrestler's sudden passing has sent shockwaves through the wrestling community, with numerous tributes pouring in following the news.
