A woman testified in court, breaking down in tears as she described an alleged sexual assault at knifepoint by two Afghan migrants in a London park. The incident reportedly occurred on August 16, 2025, in Barking Park, east London.
According to the woman's testimony at Snaresbrook Crown Court, she was with a male friend when two individuals approached them. She stated that the two men pinned her to the ground, threatened both her and her friend with a knife, and proceeded to rape her. She described one of the alleged attackers as having a small beard and speaking with an accent she associated with Afghanistan.
During cross-examination by the defense barrister, Emily Culverhouse, the woman denied suggestions that there was an agreement for sexual activity in exchange for money. She maintained that she was restrained and unable to move. The defense attorney also questioned whether the woman had demanded a sum of money and threatened to involve the police.
Noorullah Ahmdzai, 26, and a teenage defendant, whose identity is protected by law, have pleaded not guilty to charges including rape, threatening another with a blade or point, and false imprisonment. The teenager also denies assault by penetration.
