Woman's Body Found in Brisbane Bin Ruled Non-Suspicious

Police have stated they do not believe a woman's death was suspicious after her body was discovered in a bin at a Brisbane apartment complex. The body was found by waste workers at the Lambert Street complex in Kangaroo Point around 11:50 a.m. on Friday. Detective Chief Superintendent Colin Briggs indicated that further information would be released on Monday afternoon. "What we know is that it appears at this stage to be not suspicious. The investigation is ongoing," Briggs told the Courier Mail. He added that while homicide investigators are involved to ensure all aspects are covered, the current indications do not suggest foul play. Investigations into the incident are continuing.
