A romantic sunrise viewing on a California beach turned tragic when a woman was swept out to sea by powerful waves, resulting in her death. Kaylee Molina, 30, from El Paso, Texas, was visiting Sycamore Cove in Ventura County with her husband, Roberto Clemente, 32, when the incident occurred early Wednesday morning.

The couple was reportedly sitting on rocks near the shoreline when a strong surf pulled them into the ocean. Clemente managed to return to shore and immediately called 911. Emergency responders arrived and attempted life-saving measures on Molina, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Clemente was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Molina's family has launched a GoFundMe to help cover the unexpected costs of transporting her body home from California, funeral, and memorial expenses. Relatives described her death as an unimaginable tragedy and noted that she had "so much life ahead of her."

In a Facebook post, Clemente, who had been with Molina for 10 years, described her as his best friend and partner. "What was supposed to be a beautiful trip together in California turned into something I never imagined I would have to experience," he wrote. He added, "Rest peacefully, my love. I will carry you in my heart forever."
