Karen Joseph, 62, has died in hospital after being critically injured in a collision that occurred on August 24. The incident took place on Warwick Road in Stratford-upon-Avon when a black Audi, driven by 19-year-old Roman Kalas, plowed into Mrs. Joseph's car.
Mr. Kalas died at the scene of the crash, with initial reports stating his cause of death was traumatic head and chest injuries. Mrs. Joseph, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, passed away last Friday. Her daughter, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries.
The Audi had reportedly been pursued by police for six minutes prior to the crash. Road closures were in place following the incident.
