Woman Claims Supplement Replaced Weight Loss Drug, Reduced Cravings
A woman found that a 60-cent supplement helped curb her cravings for wine and chocolate and led to weight loss, potentially offering an alternative to prescription medications.
Kate Donohoe, a personal trainer, has found success with a supplement that she says has curbed her cravings for wine and chocolate and aided in weight loss. Donohoe, 44, described the supplement, glucomannan, as a 60-cent alternative that has helped her avoid the need for weight loss drugs like Mounjaro.
According to Donohoe, the supplement has also contributed to lowering her cholesterol levels. She stated that she keeps a large tub of glucomannan in her cupboard and takes it when she struggles to stick to her meal plan. She reported purchasing a $14 tub from Amazon that lasts for a month, making each pill cost approximately 60 cents.
Earlier in her life, Donohoe had managed to lose 140 lbs through significant dietary changes and regular exercise. However, she continued to be concerned about her weight. The Daily Mail reported on Donohoe's experience with glucomannan, detailing her claim that the supplement helped reduce her waist size within weeks. SOURCE1
