Woman Claims Boss's Deceit Left Her With £250,000 Debt, Facing Foreclosure
Nicky Oakley alleges a former employer's fraudulent scheme has jeopardized her family's home and financial future.
Nicky Oakley recounted a devastating experience where she claims a trusted boss's alleged lies led her into significant debt, threatening the loss of her family home. Oakley is now facing £250,000 in debt as a direct result of the alleged scheme.
Six months prior to this revelation, Oakley expressed excitement about moving into what she believed would be her "forever home." However, this move inadvertently exposed what she describes as a "nightmare scenario."
Oakley identified James Kenny as the individual responsible for her financial predicament. She stated that Kenny was a "likeable guy, the life and soul of the party." When Kenny offered her the position of director of operations with a salary of approximately £50,000, Oakley felt compelled to accept. She recalled thinking, "Ironically, I was actually glad to work with someone I liked and trusted again."
According to Oakley, Kenny attributed the need for fraud checks to a supposed former business partner who had a prior fraud conviction. Oakley is aware of at least four other women who claim to have lost substantial sums of money due to alleged con schemes orchestrated by Kenny. She believes these women, like herself, were victims of his deceitful practices.
