Jasmine Amanda Baker, 36, was arrested at her western Sydney home and charged with 62 offenses, including sending threats and stalking, in connection with a campaign of abusive letters allegedly sent between 2021 and the present.

Police allege Baker sent 19 letters containing threats to various organizations, including the Sydney Jewish Museum, Lakemba Mosque, and radio station 2GB. The threats were also allegedly sent to politicians and government agencies. Detectives from NSW Police's Counter Terrorism and Special Tactics Command began investigating the matter in May, later raiding Baker's home and seizing electronic devices.

DNA samples and fingerprints allegedly found on the letters matched Baker. Police stated that the letters were abusive and appeared to be from another person. Investigators are alleging a significant escalation in the nature of the threats over a prolonged period.

During a court appearance, Baker's lawyer indicated that she suffers from PTSD and is the full-time carer for her mother, who has multiple health concerns. The lawyer also noted that Baker had not acted on any of the alleged threats, describing the harm as emotional and reputational. However, the prosecution argued that the severity and duration of the alleged offending posed too great a risk for bail to be granted.

Judge Emma Manea denied bail, citing the nature and severity of the alleged threats. Baker is scheduled to reappear in court on August 13. Radio host Mark Levy addressed the alleged offenses on his show.
