A Florida woman previously banned from President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate was arrested again for trespassing on the property, authorities said. Li Hua Stevens, 65, was spotted by Secret Service agents on Saturday pushing a utility cart filled with her belongings around the Palm Beach grounds.
Stevens, a Chinese native who is homeless, had been warned by Palm Beach Police on May 2 for a similar trespassing incident and was subsequently ordered not to return to any Mar-a-Lago properties. Despite the ban, she reportedly ignored a "RESTRICTED AREA: NO TRESPASSING" sign during her latest incursion. Trump was not on the premises at the time, reportedly spending the weekend in Washington D.C. for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix.
Stevens was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and is being held on a $2,000 bond. This arrest follows a June 30 incident in which she was cited for public defecation in a Palm Beach garden, according to court records. She admitted to that offense after police presented surveillance footage of the act. Town officials estimated the cleanup cost for the garden incident at approximately $500.
