Woman Arrested After Viral Video Shows Her Assaulting Driving Instructor

A woman was arrested Wednesday morning in Langley, British Columbia, after a video circulated online showing her slapping a male driving instructor and verbally abusing him. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed the arrest, which occurred around 9 a.m. in a parking lot.

The confrontation, captured on video, appears to stem from a disagreement over how the driving instructor parked his vehicle, allegedly across multiple spots in a nearly empty lot. The woman, who has not been identified, is seen in the footage approaching the instructor's car before striking him and causing his sunglasses to fall off.

She then reportedly parked her black SUV in front of his vehicle. During the exchange, the woman was heard telling the instructor, "Go back to your country - tell them I said that too!" The instructor, who identified himself as being born in Canada, responded with expletives.

The woman continued to engage, questioning his role as a driving instructor. The instructor told her to leave his face and, after asking someone in his car to get her license plate number, indicated he would call the police. The argument continued with the woman reiterating her claim that he was parked illegally.

Corporal Mansoor Sahak of the Langley RCMP described the interaction as "disturbing" and stated that the police are taking the report seriously and investigating. The RCMP also requested that any witnesses come forward.

Valley Driving School, the company employing the instructor, acknowledged the incident. In a statement posted on Facebook, the school confirmed they are aware of the situation, have reported it to the police, and are prioritizing the safety and well-being of their team members. The school noted that the video was shared by a third party and stated they would not comment further on the specifics of the ongoing investigation.

It remains unclear whether the woman has been charged or how long she was held in custody following her arrest. The Daily Mail has reached out to both the Langley RCMP and Valley Driving School for comment.
