A female passenger was arrested upon arrival at Miami International Airport on Friday night after allegedly undressing and engaging in indecent acts during American Airlines Flight 1779.

The flight, which departed from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) on Sept. 11, 2025, landed in Miami at approximately 11:23 p.m. EDT. According to Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) datalink logs published by aviation website AirLive, flight attendants alerted the cockpit crew to a disturbance involving a passenger in row 9.

The ACARS message indicated that the passenger in seat 9D had completely undressed and acted indecently in front of other passengers. The logs also stated that law enforcement should be requested.

The flight continued to Miami without diversion, arriving at Gate D2 in Terminal N. Law enforcement officers were waiting at the gate and took the passenger into custody.

It is unclear what specific actions were taken by the cabin crew to manage the situation during the flight. Representatives from American Airlines, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, and Miami International Airport have been contacted for comment.
