Woman Arrested After Breaking Into Texas Home Via Doggy Door, Attacking Residents

A Texas woman is facing burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a home through a doggy door and then attacking residents with a metal pipe wrench.

Angel Samantha Reynosa, 23, entered the residence in Del Rio early Saturday morning. The homeowner, who knew Reynosa, heard the front door close and discovered her inside. According to police, Reynosa then engaged in a verbal dispute with the homeowner and another woman present.

The homeowner reportedly managed to remove Reynosa from the house and secure the doors. However, Reynosa re-entered the property by crawling through a pet door while armed with a pipe wrench. She then allegedly swung the wrench, striking one of the women on the torso and causing pain and discomfort.

Following the second removal from the home, the homeowner contacted the Del Rio Police Department. Officers arrested Reynosa and charged her with burglary of a home with intent to commit a felony. She was subsequently taken to the GEO Correctional Facility.

The specific relationship between Reynosa and the homeowner, as well as the motive for the intrusion and assault, were not detailed by authorities.
