A 65-year-old woman, identified as Vicky Kim, has been arrested and charged with murder following a response to a call reporting "unknown trouble" in Palm Desert, California. Officers from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a residence in the 35000 block of Gateway Drive Friday morning.
Upon arrival at approximately 9:47 a.m., deputies discovered a victim suffering from significant traumatic injuries consistent with a physical assault. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
Vicky Kim, 65, was taken into custody at the scene and subsequently booked into jail on murder charges. The incident occurred near The Enclave, a condominium community. Homicide investigators from the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit have taken over the investigation. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office has stated they cannot provide further details at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
