Wladimir Klitschko Seeks Guardianship of Daughter Kaya's Inheritance Amid Estate Concerns
Ex-fiancé of Hayden Panettiere files urgent legal motion to manage their daughter's assets.
Wladimir Klitschko has filed an urgent legal request to be appointed temporary guardian of his and the late Hayden Panettiere's daughter Kaya's estate. The documents, filed in Los Angeles, state that the 11-year-old Kaya, who resides in Ukraine with Klitschko, is entitled to all of Panettiere's assets.
Klitschko's filing asserts that it is "urgent and essential" for him to manage Kaya's inheritance on her behalf. He stated in court papers that he was informed that federal agents entered Panettiere's Los Angeles residence as part of an investigation and removed property belonging to her estate. The documents also mention that no personal representative is currently in place to safeguard the estate's interests.
The court papers detail previous security measures taken for Panettiere's home and its contents, including hiring a security service and changing locks due to concerns about unauthorized access. Storage units containing designer clothing and accessories from public appearances have also been relocated as a precaution. Klitschko indicated that an individual is expected to continue attempting to misappropriate property from the estate, necessitating immediate appointment of a personal representative to protect Panettiere's assets.
