Witney Carson, a professional dancer on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," announced Monday that she is expecting her third child with husband Carson McAllister. The announcement was made via an Instagram post.

Carson, 32, also confirmed that she will compete in the upcoming 35th season of the show while pregnant. This marks a significant moment, as she stated she will be the first professional dancer to compete that far along in her pregnancy. "It wasn't on my bingo card to compete on Dancing with the Stars and be four months pregnant, but I think that's a beautiful thing," Carson said on "Good Morning America."

She shared a black-and-white clip on Instagram featuring herself, her husband, their two sons—Kevin Leo, 5, and Jet Carson, 3—and a sonogram. "We've been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family," she captioned the post.

Carson, who won the Mirror Ball Trophy last season with Robert Irwin and previously with Alfonso Ribeiro in season 19, expressed her desire to balance her passion for dancing with motherhood. "So my plan is to, as long as the baby is healthy and as long as I'm doing well, then we will compete again on this season on Dancing with the Stars," she told People. "I love both. And so if I can do both, then that's what I want to do."

She acknowledged the challenges of dancing while pregnant, especially with two young children at home. Carson credited her husband for his support, stating he has been "an absolute champ" in helping care for the family and allowing her to rest. The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year, having met as high school sweethearts in American Fork, Utah, and married in January 2016.

Carson will be partnered with comedian Guillermo Rodriguez, known for his role as a sidekick on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," for the upcoming season. Other confirmed celebrity contestants include "Summer House" star Ciara Miller, "Love Island USA After Sun" host Maura Higgins, Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson, and "Dancing with the Stars: Juniors" alum Kamri Peterson.

The full cast and pairings for "Dancing with the Stars" season 35 are scheduled to be revealed on September 2 during "Good Morning America." The season is set to premiere on ABC and Disney+ on September 15 and 16, with episodes available to stream on Hulu the following day.
