Wisconsin Principal Arrested for Alleged Sexual Misconduct with Student
A 32-year-old associate principal faces charges following an anonymous tip to the school district.
An associate principal at Bonduel Middle/High School in Wisconsin has been arrested on allegations of sexual misconduct with a student. Kaitlyn Hintz, 32, was taken into custody on Monday.
The School District of Bonduel received an anonymous tip through its Speak Up, Speak Out reporting system last week, prompting an investigation. Superintendent Joe Dawidziak stated in a letter to parents that the district was informed of "inappropriate contact" between Hintz and a student.
Law enforcement was notified, and their investigation revealed that the alleged communication did not occur on school property or through district digital platforms. During the investigation, Hintz was placed on administrative leave, in accordance with school policy.
"We recognize that this news is deeply concerning for our students, families, staff and community," Dawidziak wrote. "Please know that we take these allegations extremely seriously. The safety and wellbeing of our students remains our highest priority."
The district has pledged full cooperation with law enforcement. Details regarding Hintz's tenure at the school, which serves students aged 11 to 18, have not been released. The school board encouraged students, families, and staff to utilize the reporting system or contact administrators with any safety concerns.
Hintz was booked into Shawano County Jail and faces multiple charges. Her initial court appearance is anticipated later this week. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
