A Wisconsin parent has been cited after security footage captured him tripping a 9-year-old football player during a youth league game. The incident occurred Saturday in Racine, Wisconsin, when the child, playing for the Case Eagles, was nearing the end zone during a game against the Milwaukee Colts.

The footage shows the adult, who was reportedly supporting the Colts, extending his leg and tripping the young player who was running with the ball. Both the child and the adult fell to the ground, prompting officials to stop the game. The child's coach described the act as "the most cowardly act I've ever seen."
