Wisconsin Associate Principal Arrested for Alleged Sexual Misconduct
Authorities arrested Kaitlyn Hintz, 32, after a tip reported inappropriate contact with a student.
A Wisconsin associate principal has been arrested on allegations of sexual misconduct involving a student. Kaitlyn Hintz, 32, who serves as associate principal at Bonduel Middle/High School, was taken into custody on Monday.
The arrest followed a tip received by the state’s Speak Up, Speak Out reporting system, according to a letter sent to parents by the school district. The tip alleged "inappropriate contact between the associate principal and a student."
Hintz was booked into the Shawano County Jail on multiple charges, though the sheriff’s office has not elaborated due to the ongoing investigation. The school district noted that the alleged communications and interactions did not occur through district platforms or on district property.
Bonduel Middle/High School serves students ranging in age from 11 to 18. The school district emphasized in its communication to parents that the safety and well-being of its students remain its highest priority. Hintz is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
