An interview with actor Will Ferrell and his "The Hawk" co-star Molly Shannon was abruptly ended after podcast host Brendan Fevola attempted to ask an "x-rated" question.

Ferrell and Shannon were promoting their upcoming series, in which Ferrell plays a washed-up golf legend named Lonnie Hawkins. The interview, conducted by Fevola and fellow host Nick Box for "The Fifi, Fev & Nick" show, began with standard questions about Ferrell's golf game and some Australian slang.

After clarifying the meaning of terms like "smoko," "snags," and "Maccas," Fevola launched into his prepared question. "Hey Will, Lonnie Hawkins calls his testicles Alana and Morrisette," Fevola started, but was cut off before he could finish.

A member of the PR team immediately intervened, stating, "that's all the time I'm going to have today gentlemen, thank you very much." Fevola expressed disappointment, calling it his "favourite question."

Ferrell, however, appeared to find humor in the situation, responding, "wow, well enjoy your Maccas," before the interview concluded.

The conversation had initially touched upon Ferrell's athletic roles in previous films, including basketball, soccer, ice skating, and NASCAR. When the topic turned to Australian Rules Football (AFL), Fevola and Box informed Ferrell that Fevola, a former elite-level player, could portray him in a movie. Box likened Fevola to Kenny Powers, a character known for his over-the-top persona, played by Danny McBride in "Eastbound Down," a series in which Ferrell had intermittent roles.

Shannon, when asked about golf, stated she had no experience with the sport and did not understand golf terminology such as "divot."
