Retired NFL player Will Compton has publicly voiced his surprise and confusion over not being invited to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's recent wedding ceremony. Compton, who co-hosts the "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast, detailed his "flabbergasted" reaction on the "Wake Up Barstool" show, specifically questioning the invitation of Dean Blandino, NFL Vice President of Officiating.
Compton, 36, noted that while he is not a co-creator of Kelce's Tight End University (TEU), he is a regular participant in the annual event and has previously been photographed with Swift. He expressed bewilderment that Blandino, 54, was reportedly in attendance, contrasting it with his own absence. Compton stated he initially didn't think much of it until he realized "everybody else" seemed to have received an invitation.
Compton's comments on "Wake Up Barstool" were brought up by Dave Portnoy, who called Compton to discuss his "stunning" absence from the wedding, emphasizing that "everybody at Tight End U" was present. Compton responded via X (formerly Twitter), posting, "Don't think I've ever seen Dean Blandino at Tight End University."
This is not the first time Compton has commented on Kelce's high-profile relationship. In September 2025, he questioned during an ESPN segment whether the attention surrounding Swift's involvement in Kelce's life was impacting his NFL season, asking, "Are the Chiefs doing too many commercials right now?"
Compton's podcast co-host, Taylor Lewan, also addressed the wedding snub on their show. Lewan, 34, echoed Compton's sentiment, questioning the guest list and whether he and Compton had somehow offended Kelce. Lewan pointed to the attendance of George Kittle's mother as another surprising name on the list. He shared that he had recently texted Kelce congratulations, to which Kelce replied, "Thanks, brother." Lewan considered recording a voice message to Kelce about the lack of an invitation but ultimately decided against sending it.
