Fans of the Hulu football comedy "Chad Powers" are eagerly anticipating news about a potential third season. The series, which stars Glen Powell as the titular character, concluded its second season with a cliffhanger in its sixth episode, titled "12th Quarter." Like the first season, the second season featured a total of six episodes, with all episodes of Season 2 dropping at once, a departure from the first season's weekly release schedule.

While Hulu has not yet officially renewed "Chad Powers" for a third season, co-creator Michael Waldron has indicated that he and Powell have ideas for up to three seasons. This suggests a desire to continue the story if the opportunity arises. Critics have responded positively to the show, with Season 2 achieving a perfect 100% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a significant increase from Season 1's 60% rating. This critical acclaim, combined with the season-ending cliffhangers, has fueled speculation and hope for a renewal.

Should "Chad Powers" be renewed, fans might not have to wait multiple years for new episodes. Waldron previously stated that he and Powell aim to release new seasons in a timely manner, given the show's format of six half-hour episodes. If a renewal is announced promptly, new episodes could potentially arrive in 2027.

In the meantime, both Season 1 and Season 2 of "Chad Powers" are available for streaming on Hulu. Subscription prices for Hulu start at $11.99 per month for the ad-supported plan, with an ad-free version costing $18.99 per month. Bundle options that include Disney+ and Hulu are also available, starting at $12.99 per month.
