Wife of Man Accused of Stabbing Lover Seen Shopping with Children
The partner of Ismael Pinedalopez, who is accused of fatally stabbing her lover after allegedly finding them in bed together, was seen out with their children.
The partner of a man accused of fatally stabbing his wife's lover was seen shopping with their two young children days after the alleged murder. Wendy Clemente, the partner of Ismael Pinedalopez, was photographed running errands and shopping, including at a Walmart, accompanied by her children, aged two and four.
Pinedalopez, 34, is accused of stabbing Nicholas Garcia, 28, to death with a pocketknife on Oct. 24 in their Anaheim home. According to authorities, Pinedalopez allegedly discovered Garcia in bed with Clemente and their children.
Clemente declined to comment when approached by reporters, stating, "I don't want to talk about it." Her brother, Elvis Clemente, echoed this sentiment, telling The Post, "My sister has said she doesn't want to talk about it. It's not a subject I want to talk about as well."
A neighbor described Pinedalopez as a devoted father who worked nights and cared for the children while Clemente worked during the day. The neighbor also stated she had never seen Garcia at the home and described Pinedalopez as "a very nice, easygoing" man.
Pinedalopez has been charged with felony murder and an enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon. His arraignment and bail review are scheduled for December 1.
Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer expressed dismay that the children allegedly witnessed the event, calling it "truly heartbreaking." Pinedalopez faces a potential sentence of 26 years to life if convicted.
