Cami Clark, 47, the wife of AI giant Anthropic's CEO Dario Amodei, has cultivated an almost invisible online persona, a stark contrast to her significant role in her husband's career. Clark has been a key figure in Anthropic's journey, assisting in investor relations and the company's launch. However, her own past is marked by a series of ventures and events that have largely been removed from public view.

Clark's entrepreneurial endeavors included pitching a women-centered pornography website named Eddice to Jeffrey Epstein in 2011. Introduced to Epstein by literary agent John Brockman, Clark and her co-founder Michelle Capocefalo sought investment for their venture. Documents suggest interactions between Clark and Epstein over a two-year period, during which she sent him scripts for a pornographic series and discussed her business ideas. Epstein ultimately declined to invest, citing an inability to support "sex TV."

Eddice, named after Clark's grandmother, was launched in 2012, but did not achieve success. Before this, Clark filed for bankruptcy in 2009, following a foreclosure on her San Francisco apartment. Her personal history also includes an age-gap relationship at 20 with a man over 40 years her senior.

Clark's connections in the tech world extend to former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, whom she dated from 2011 to 2014. During their relationship, she reportedly convinced him to invest in Anthropic. Following their breakup, she began dating Dario Amodei, whom she married in 2022. The couple met while living in a shared group home in San Francisco, where Amodei was working at Stanford University's School of Medicine.

Amodei's career trajectory took him through Google and OpenAI before co-founding Anthropic with his sister and five other former OpenAI employees. Clark was involved in the formation of Anthropic and reportedly sought equity in the company, which is now valued at an estimated $2 billion. She has often accompanied Amodei to industry events and played a role in the company's early stages.
