During a recent episode of "The View," Anne Hathaway became tearful after host Whoopi Goldberg expressed admiration for her career and personal journey. Hathaway, who is expecting her third child, responded with emotional gratitude to Goldberg's comments.

"It's just been wonderful watching you grow up," Goldberg told the actress. "And you have just blossomed, turned into this fabulous actress. Girl... it's something you need to know and remember."

Hathaway, visibly moved, replied, "I don't know what to say. Thank you. You know how I feel about you." She also humorously remarked, "I would be crying if I wasn't pregnant right now."

The "Devil Wears Prada" star is preparing to welcome a sibling for her two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, with her husband Adam Shulman. Hathaway and Shulman, who have been married for over 13 years, met on the set of "Alice in Wonderland" in 2009 and have collaborated on several projects.

In her current film, "The Odyssey," Hathaway portrays Penelope, the wife of Odysseus. She discussed her connection to the character, stating, "Yes, of course, I connected to it because of the things that are going on in my personal life, being a mom, lucky enough to be married to the love of my life." Hathaway explained that the character's struggle with feeling trapped by circumstances and the need to maintain perfection resonated with her.

"The Odyssey," a fantasy epic directed by Christopher Nolan, has achieved significant box office success, grossing $264 million in its first four days against a $250 million budget. The film also boasts high critical and audience approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hathaway has a number of upcoming projects, including "The End of Oak Street," "Verity," and the Paramount+ series "Fear Not," among more than ten other anticipated roles.
