Whitney Rose Files for Divorce From Husband Justin After 17 Years
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the split, proposing a parenting plan for their two children.
Whitney Rose, a personality from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose, after nearly 17 years of marriage. Rose, 40, submitted the divorce papers in Third District Court, Salt Lake Department, according to reports.
The couple, who married in November 2009, share two children: daughter Bobbie, 16, and son Brooks, 13. Whitney has proposed a parenting plan in the divorce filing.
News of the divorce comes after a source told Page Six in July 2026 that the couple had been "living separate lives." The source indicated that the pair were "never together, even when they're in the same place, like the gym," and were staying together "for the sake of the kids."
Whitney had reportedly spent limited time at the couple's home prior to the commencement of production for the seventh season of the Bravo show in February 2026.
The strain on their marriage had been a narrative thread on RHOSLC, with Whitney previously stating she was "in pain" following a "really rough" 2025 and had been using alcohol to cope. She explained that business-related issues "snowballed into arguing about everything," leading her to seek space from her husband.
In May 2026, Whitney told Us Weekly that she had been preparing to "take the next step toward separation" after living in the guest bedroom of their home for three months prior. She detailed how they divided their time between their residence and an apartment to maintain routine for their children, ensuring their lives and social circles remained undisturbed.
Sources indicated to Page Six that marital issues were exacerbated by stress over financial matters. Justin Rose, currently president at the wellness company Awakend, previously parted ways with LifeVantage Corporation. Whitney stated this separation was due to his appearance in a semi-nude scene in the show's second season, and she noted that his subsequent year out of work impacted their relationship.
Whitney had previously addressed rumors of a potential split. In January 2025, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she stated that breakup rumors had been circulating for five years and that Justin "is not going anywhere."
Whitney has also been involved in various business ventures, including her Wild Rose Podcast, Wild Rose Beauty, Sōl People, and Prism.
