Whitney Leavitt Proud of Husband Conner After DWTS Elimination
The 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' star posted a supportive message to her husband following his exit from the dance competition.
Whitney Leavitt is expressing pride in her husband, Conner Leavitt, after his elimination from "Dancing With the Stars" on premiere night. Conner Leavitt, who was paired with professional dancer Adele Zaikman, was the first contestant to be sent home from Season 35 of the ABC competition.
Whitney Leavitt shared her sentiments on Instagram, writing, "I hope you never let this ending take away from what you just did." She praised her husband for stepping "so far outside of [his] comfort zone," adding, "You worked your ass off, put yourself out there and went for it." Leavitt encouraged her husband to continue pursuing his goals, stating, "I hope this lit a fire in you! Keep saying yes and keep putting [him]self out there."
The reality star emphasized her support, saying, "F–k the noise and go after whatever you want next baby!" She also noted that their children – Sedona, Liam, and Billy – are proud of their father and that she feels "so proud and lucky to be your wife." Leavitt concluded her message by calling the experience "just the beginning."
Accompanying the Instagram post were several photos of the couple. Leavitt was present in the live audience to support her husband during his performance. Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman performed a Salsa to Tag Team's "Whoomp! There It Is," receiving a score of 12 out of 30 from the judges.
Whitney Leavitt has prior experience on "Dancing With the Stars," having competed in Season 34 where she was paired with Mark Ballas and finished in sixth place. Following her own elimination, she went on to secure a role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of "Chicago" and is slated to perform as Sandra Dee in "Just in Time" later this year.
