White House officials launched a sharp verbal attack on Sen. Jon Ossoff, a Georgia Democrat, on Monday, mocking him as a "cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid" after he criticized President Trump at a campaign rally over the weekend.
Ossoff, who is seeking a second term in the Senate, accused Trump of prioritizing personal comforts and appearances over his duties as commander-in-chief during a speech on Sunday. He specifically referenced Trump preferring to "build his ballroom and travel with Natalie"—an apparent allusion to White House aide Natalie Harp—over fulfilling his presidential responsibilities.
These remarks prompted strong reactions from within the West Wing. White House spokesman Davis Ingle described Ossoff on X as "a cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama," adding that "Nobody gives a s--t what this lightweight loser says."
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung also weighed in, using a crude nickname and calling Ossoff "the biggest cuck loser in politics." Cheung suggested that Ossoff "look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country," attributing his stance to being a "radical, extremist Dumocrat."
The campaign against Ossoff has previously highlighted his past activities, including his membership in a college singing group and a "Star Wars" parody film he participated in, which were used in attack ads during his first Senate run.
In his rally speech, Ossoff also criticized Trump's handling of the economy and the Iran war, calling the administration's justifications for the conflict "uniquely despicable." He accused Trump of "lying" the country into war and suggested the president was disengaged, stating, "While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings."
When asked about Ossoff's comments during an Oval Office event on Monday, President Trump reportedly referred to the senator as "Pee-wee Herman," a comparison he has made previously. Trump also stated he would "much rather do other things" than travel with Harp and focus on the ballroom, adding that "We are building a great facility here."
