White House Deputy Chief of Staff Richard Walters is leaving the Trump administration, following President Donald Trump's decision to replace White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles with Stephen Miller. Walters, who was a longtime ally of Wiles, confirmed his departure.

Stephen Miller, in a statement to Fox News, described Walters as an "invaluable member" of the White House who was instrumental in achieving some of the administration's key victories. Miller added that Walters will continue to support the administration's efforts from outside the White House.

Walters' departure comes as the administration undergoes a transition at the Chief of Staff position, with Miller taking over. Miller indicated that Walters will still be involved in supporting President Trump's agenda.

This is a developing story.
