The White House Correspondents' Dinner has been rescheduled, with President Trump expected to welcome the press to the event.
The original dinner, which had been scheduled for April, was abruptly ended after an armed intruder reportedly opened fire with the intent to target the President. The individual was apprehended by security personnel at the time.
Mentalist Oz Pearlman is slated to be the featured performer for the evening. Live coverage of the rescheduled dinner was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET.
