Whistleblower Claims US Aware of Secret Underwater UFO Base

A former Air Force intelligence officer has claimed that the U.S. government is aware of a significant underwater facility used by extraterrestrials as a base of operations. David Grusch, who testified under oath in 2023 about alleged U.S. programs recovering and reverse-engineering non-human spacecraft, recently shared further details in an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan.

Grusch described the alleged facility as being "large," spanning "multiple city blocks" and noted that "stuff comes and goes" from it. He stated that his information came from top-secret program files, videos, and confessions from government and military insiders. The former intelligence officer indicated that U.S. naval officials have referred to the secret facility as the inspiration for the 1989 film "The Abyss."

"There's clearly some sort of base of operations in certain locations," Grusch said during the September 30 episode. "It's large. Don't know when it got there... Like multiple city blocks type stuff."

Grusch, who spent 14 years in the Air Force and worked for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) before becoming a whistleblower, claimed that elements of the U.S. government prevented Congressional oversight on matters related to extraterrestrials. His allegations echo similar claims made by Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee, who has spoken about frequent sightings of unidentified underwater craft by naval personnel.

Burchett has stated that naval personnel report chasing underwater craft capable of speeds far exceeding current U.S. naval technology. He has suggested that these craft are frequently sighted in specific deep-sea areas, potentially in the Atlantic Ocean near the Bahamas.

During the interview, Grusch also alleged that he was shown video footage of dead bodies recovered from the crash site of an alleged alien spacecraft. He described this footage as contemporary and clear, distinct from older, less reliable recordings. He also claimed that the beings in the footage were "very beautiful" with pale, bluish-white skin and that these bodies are reportedly kept in a frozen storage facility for examination.

Grusch suggested that such visual evidence, including the alleged videos, might be part of future disclosure efforts. "The problem with the current climate like you're going to have to wheel out the physical evidence, too, because the trust in government is so low right now," he commented.

The U.S. military and the White House have historically maintained that no physical evidence exists to prove the presence of UFOs or alien life. Grusch did not disclose the specific location of the alleged underwater base or the methods used to detect it, citing national security sensitivities.
