The American family drama series Brothers & Sisters, which captivated audiences with its portrayal of the wealthy, California-based Walker family, marked its 20th anniversary this month. Created by Jon Robin Baitz, the ABC show, which aired from 2006 to 2011, explored the emotional fallout of family patriarch William Walker's death and the subsequent intricate dynamics of his matriarchal wife, Nora Walker, and their five adult children.

The series featured a prominent cast including Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, Rob Lowe, and Ron Rifkin, alongside emerging talents like Emily VanCamp and Luke Macfarlane. Many of the stars have since achieved significant career milestones, embraced new ventures, and navigated personal journeys.

Sally Field

Sally Field, 79, who portrayed Nora Walker, went on to win an Emmy for her role. A celebrated actress long before Brothers & Sisters, Field continued her career with roles in The Amazing Spider-Man and released her memoir In Pieces in 2018, where she bravely detailed childhood sexual abuse.

Calista Flockhart

Calista Flockhart, 61, known for her role as Kitty Walker, married Harrison Ford in 2010. After the series concluded, Flockhart prioritized motherhood, telling The Guardian in 2012, "my family is my priority." She has also appeared in Supergirl and Feud: Capote v The Swans.

Dave Annable

Emily VanCamp
