"The Real Rooneys," a 10-episode documentary series, is set to be released on Disney on Thursday. Rooney publicly addressed his nose job in August, detailing an operation to correct injuries sustained from two broken noses during his football career. He shared his experience on his podcast, "Stick to United," noting initial discomfort and the presence of plastic tubes in his nose post-surgery.

He explained that his first nasal fracture occurred during an FA Cup game in 2015. The second break happened years later while playing for D.C. United. He stated that he had postponed surgery until after the World Cup.

Multiple nasal fractures can impact the septum and cartilage, potentially affecting breathing. The surgical tubes are typically used to maintain nostril shape during the healing process.

The second break occurred during a match against the Colorado Rapids, when an opposing player collided with Rooney. The incident left him with a bloodstained face and a subsequent black eye.
