A father in Washington State was filmed in a profanity-laced outburst after discovering Christian pamphlets included with Halloween candy his son received. The incident, which occurred on Halloween in Bellevue, has ignited discussion online, with the father asserting that the neighbor's actions felt like an attempt to 'groom' children.

The video, captured by the neighbor and shared online, shows the father yelling, "Don't try to convert kids on a f*ing holiday!" The father expressed his outrage over pamphlets that read, "Jesus loves you so much" and "Truth & a treat," accompanied by a QR code for a Bible study. He stated that he was offended and acknowledged making a "jacka" of himself, but maintained that proselytizing on a children's holiday was inappropriate.

The father explained that the pamphlets were at the bottom of treat bags and parents were not consulted. He also claimed that his neighbors were "enticing children with bags of candy and then telling them Jesus is the truth," which he perceived as "grooming."

During the confrontation, the father's son sat in their car, at one point climbing into the back seat as the tirade continued. The father could be heard saying, "My kid's smart enough to not fall for that s***." He also referenced other families in the neighborhood with different faiths who "don't need to hear about your f***ing fantasy God."

The man recording the incident responded, "They don't talk like you," before the father retorted, "Go f*** yourself. Have a great Halloween and go f*** yourself."

The father told the Daily Mail that before the video began, he had attempted a civil conversation with the neighbor, who he claims made offensive remarks about his lack of religion. He emphasized that the incident occurred on a public street, no threats were made, and no one was harmed.
