Walker Kessler's Fiancee Abbie Stockard Completes Nursing School

Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025 and fiancée of Los Angeles Lakers center Walker Kessler, has marked a significant milestone by completing her nursing school program at Auburn University. Stockard shared the news on Instagram, posting a picture of herself beside a sign for Auburn's Nursing Building.

"Today was my final day of class in nursing school!! From my first day 3 years ago, to my last day today, and all the days in between, I’m officially moved out of Auburn and starting my preceptorship! I could not be more grateful to have finally made it to this moment 🥹," she captioned the post.

Stockard did not specify the location of her preceptorship, which is the nursing equivalent of an apprenticeship. It is possible she may undertake this next phase of her training in Los Angeles, potentially allowing her to be closer to Kessler as he prepares for his first season with the Lakers.

Kessler himself had an eventful offseason. In July, he signed a four-year, $140 million contract with the Lakers through a sign-and-trade deal with the Utah Jazz. He also became engaged to Stockard in the same month.

While Kessler has been focused on preparing for his upcoming season, Stockard has been concluding her academic pursuits in Alabama. The recent graduation from nursing school signifies a major transition in her own professional journey.
