WAG Zoe Marshall Reveals Separate Hotel Rooms for Holidays with Husband
NRL personality Zoe Marshall has shared that she and her husband, West Tigers coach Benji Marshall, opt for separate hotel rooms even during holidays.
NRL WAG Zoe Marshall has provided further insight into her unique sleeping arrangements with her husband, West Tigers coach Benji Marshall, revealing that the couple also occupies separate hotel rooms when on holiday.
Marshall, 42, previously disclosed that she and her husband of 13 years sleep in different bedrooms. She recently elaborated on this during an Instagram Q&A, stating that this practice extends to vacations, leading them to spend thousands of dollars on separate accommodations.
In a 2018 radio interview, Marshall had explained that sleeping apart was a strategy to maintain romance. She noted that the arrangement began when her husband experienced sleep apnea, and she found she enjoyed her personal space. Her bedroom is the master suite, while Benji has a smaller adjacent room.
When asked about intimacy, Marshall stated, "It's always mine (her bedroom)," attributing it to her preference for clean sheets. She also mentioned that while they engage in intimate activities, Benji "tiptoes out" afterward.
The couple, who married in 2013, renewed their vows in 2023. Marshall also disclosed that before their wedding, the couple had separated three times. They recently purchased a new family home in Sydney for $4.75 million.
Benji Marshall began his NRL career in 2003 and concluded his playing career in 2021. He became the coach of his former team, the Wests Tigers, in 2024. Marshall also shared that she had no prior knowledge of Benji being an NRL star when they first met, and if she had, she might not have pursued a relationship with him.
